Rustic Cross llc is a design and fabrication studio based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, led by owner and operator Ozz Snoddy—a prop and set fabricator, artist, and GB02 licensed General Contractor (NM #421155). We live at the intersection of art, construction, and storytelling, building bold physical worlds for stage, film, live events, exhibits, and immersive environments. Our work spans design & 3D modeling, fabrication, CNC routing, mold making & casting, foam carving, scenic finishes, and complete sets & props. Whether it’s a hero prop for camera, a festival build that has to survive weather and crowds, or a custom scenic environment for a live event, every project is approached with the same mindset: it has to look incredible, function in the real world, and hold up under use, transport, and time. Beyond the film and live event world, Rustic Cross llc also offers custom epoxy work and remodels, bringing the same precision and creativity into residential and commercial spaces. From epoxy countertops, bar tops, tabletops, and feature pieces to integrated wood–epoxy designs and statement surfaces, we create one-of-a-kind elements that feel like functional artwork. With our GB02 license, we’re able to take on remodels and construction-based upgrades, blending scenic sensibilities with contractor-level understanding of structure, codes, and durability. In the shop, we work across wood, metal, foam, plastics, and resins, building everything from architectural elements and cabinetry to set pieces, signage, exhibits, and interactive environments. Foam rockwork, carved brick, forged textures, aged metal, and layered scenic paint are all part of the toolkit. We’re comfortable moving from rough concept sketches to fabrication-ready models, prototypes, and iterative design development—especially when timelines are tight and details matter. We collaborate closely with production designers, art directors, event and festival producers, exhibit designers, experiential agencies, and property owners. Some projects start as clean technical drawings, others as a rough idea and a budget; either way, we help shape the path from vision to installed piece. Our builds travel from shop floor to set, stage, venue, or home, with installation and on-site adjustments handled with the same care as the original design. At Rustic Cross llc, every project—whether it’s a film set, festival booth, immersive room, epoxy feature, or full remodel—is treated as a story in three dimensions. We’re here to design it, build it, and make sure it feels unforgettable in the space where it lives.
